After so many popular custom roms being ported it's about time we finally got the chance to try out the well known AOKP rom on our Galaxy S4 mini.

AOKP (Android Open Kang Project) is another aftermarket firmware based off AOSP (Android Open Source Project) that offers excellent performance and a decent amount of features. The rom was ported unofficially by xda member Silesh.Nair who just recently also gave us the Resurrection Remix rom.

According to some user reviews, the rom appears to be working just fine with the exception of one small bug during the first boot. For some reason, bluetooth would refuse to work unless the phone gets rebooted for the first time while using this rom. Hopefully this will be fixed in the upcoming versions.

As for a list of features and more information regarding the AOKP rom, you may check out its official website.
